Harrison Lockwood

Harrison has joined our team as a part-time Assistant to the SMART team and aims to enrol on to a Doctorate of Clinical Psychology in the near future. Harrison has a particular interest in autism and ADHD and has extensively studied these conditions throughout his studies. He is also working as an SEMH teaching assistant, supporting children with social, emotional, and mental health needs in the school environment. 

 

Harrison has recently completed a BSc in Psychology at Lancaster University. His dissertation investigated epistemic curiosity in children aged between 18-36 months old, and how this relates to temperament. He also completed an MSc in Foundations of Clinical Psychology at Newcastle University. His dissertation investigated potential mediators in the relationship between attachment anxiety and parasocial relationships, and he is working towards publishing this.
