Marie McGovern

Marie is a qualified and experienced Systemic Psychotherapist or Family Therapist registered with the UKCP. Marie has experience of working in the NHS and in therapist education, training and supervision. Marie is experienced in working with child and adolescent and adult mental health concerns and wider family difficulties including parenting and family relationship problems across the lifespan including eating difficulties, child behaviour problems, adult sibling relationship difficulties and couple’s relationship problems including those of middle age and beyond.

Marie works using a systemic approach to therapy which recognises the impact of problems on relationships and the potential for stressful patterns to develop which limit the potential for those concerned to resolve difficulties.
